The last time I wrote a journal on here it was April 13!!! Nearly a year has passed since then!

Anyways, I updated my gallery with some of my school projects. It's been a really dissapointing semmester(sp?) for the art assignments I recieved.

On a better note, the school that I volunteered at last year asked me to give art lessons again this year and they're paying me! ^^ I'm so excited.
Additionally, my prof for my night class liked my water colour skills so much he wants me to come and volunteer at his highschool art class to teach the class water colours. -explodes from success-
This makes me feel my choice to pursue education to become a teacher is definitly the right one.

On a funnier side, I haven't been trying very hard in painting class for a while because I really disliked the assignments being handed out, until the more recent one (Girl WIP(in gallery)). I love the historical paintings and to paint like the olden masters. Anyways, we had a critique in class of what we had done so far, and when he got to mine he was surprised that I had painted it. Really surprised, which is both insulting and pleasing at the same moment. ^^
